About Denese Cavanaugh, Founder
Denese Cavanaugh, ERYT500/CPT/YACEP/Presenter/Yoga Therapy enrolled, is an international yoga teacher and founded The IPATH® Method in 2009.
Denese Cavanaugh developed IPATH® out of 26 years of Yoga and Pilates instruction. Her philosophy suggests yoga is a tool to help students reclaim and enjoy their own bodies and mind, so they are able to share their passions in life.
Voted "Best Yoga Teacher" 2014 and 2015 by the Washington City Paper, she has even given numerous private and event yoga sessions with First Lady Michelle Obama.
Her passion for mentoring yoga teachers and alignment yoga led her to create IPATH®, (Integral Postural Alignment Therapeutics), allowing her to share her expertise with people with failing posture and back pain.
She holds a YACEP® designation (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) and offers 200 and 300hr Yoga Teacher Training curriculum and 75 Hour IPATH training at Deva Yogamynd in Milan Italy, Denese hails from NYC and currently lives in Bethesda, MD.
Denese believes in continuous learning, and currently studying Yoga Therapy at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
She is humbled and grateful to her teachers for sharing their unbounded insight and generosity and is honored to share that generous evolution with others.
